Detection of Airborne Asbestos Fibres
Our specialists rely on a scanning electron microscope (SEM) to determine the concentration of asbestos fibres in the air.
To this end, they use a PHENOM XLI scanning electron microscope that is equipped with an EDS (Energy-Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy) detector and a Secondary Electron Detector (SED) designed to facilitate qualitative and quantitative non-destructive testing.
