About Us
Our story started in 1985, when a group of young researchers who wanted to take a multidisciplinary approach to environmental sampling and food testing founded a company named Centro Studi Ambientali Soc. coop. a.r.l..
Due to increasing demand in the market, two new companies – C.S.A. Sistemi S.r.l. and C.S.A. Ricerche S.r.l. – were created in 2000 and 2001.
These companies were merged together in 2004 to form Gruppo C.S.A, a private Research Institute currently occupying 3,500 sqm and employing over 100 highly qualified lab technicians.

We firmly believe in technological innovation, which is why we rely on cutting-edge lab equipment and testing devices that allow us to provide a wide range of testing services using accredited techniques in line with the highest quality standards.
Research and development are at the heart and soul of what we do. We work in close partnership with Universities and Research Institutes, both public and private, to develop innovative and modern lab testing techniques.
What We Do
Our Technical and Production Department consists of three Departments: Sampling, Laboratories, Research and Innovation. The Sampling Department is in charge of:

Last but not least, the Research and Innovation Department boasts a team of highly qualified engineers with extensive expertise in environmental and food testing.
Our Certifications
Gruppo C.S.A. S.p.a. is an Accredia-accredited laboratory (Reg. No. 0181L) that performs all testing in compliance with UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025. A full list of tests we are accredited for may be found at our laboratory or on the Accredia website (www.accredia.it).
